For quite some time now we’ve been brainwashed into seeing so many things as urgent. How do we break from this illusion and step back into our lives.
Stop and consider…As a society we are addicted to urgency. Yes, it’s an addiction. We try to slow down our minds and we get anxious, restless, and can’t sit focus. Our bodies react likewise- we tap our feet, we can’t get comfortable, our breathing gets shallow. Everything screams out for that drug, coffee, drink. Or, in this case, Urgency. Answering phones,checking that email, wrting that text; Pinterest, Facebook, Blog, Whatever. I ask you this. What in your life is really IMPORTANT? Is it the same things that are filling your life and days with urgency?
