Stop and consider…As a society we are addicted to urgency.  Yes, it’s an addiction.  We try to slow down our minds and we get anxious, restless, and can’t sit focus.  Our bodies react likewise- we tap our feet, we can’t get comfortable, our breathing gets shallow. Everything screams out for that drug, coffee, drink. Or, in this case, Urgency. Answering phones,checking that email, wrting that text; Pinterest, Facebook, Blog, Whatever.  I ask you this. What in your life is really IMPORTANT?  Is it the same things that are filling your life and days with urgency?

I so agree with this quotation. We are are greatest adversaries as well as our greatest teachers.  Whenever we find the courage to transcend aspects of ourselves that keep us locked in ways, situations and relationships that no longer serve us, we not only create a better life for ourselves, but also for others who are affected and, perhaps, inspired by our victories.
